I am completing my pre-doctoral internship of the PhD program in Clinical Psychology.
This internship is at the Counseling Centre at Memorial University of Newfoundland. My primary area of research focuses on the institutional impact of the university and residence system on the lives of university women living in residence. To this end, I am carrying out qualitative analyses following the methodology of the psycho-social ethnography of the commonplace, which is a methodology created by Dr. Carmen Poulin and Lynne Gouliquer for the study of the psychological impact of institutional practices.

This method also influenced the completion of an earlier project following the lives of
transition house workers, which assessed the influence of the institution on how they
conducted and made sense of their everyday lives. The research lab has been vital in
