Research Group
Weekly, my students and a select number of colleagues and/or collaborators meet to discuss our research projects, specific readings related to our research, and more generally, to touch base. During our meetings, we also troubleshoot, go over conference presentations and provide feedback and comments on each other's research activities. We also provide feedback to each other on our written work via e-mail. In this way, everyone in the group becomes familiar with each other’s research projects, which allows for lively, interesting, and fun discussions. Often, new research ideas emerge and are explored along the way. In general, our theoretical orientation is feminist. While most of our discussions focus on the experience of women, some of our projects also examine the experience of marginalized groups of men.
